New reception starters
We are extremely pleased to be welcoming you to our Penns family and we are thankful that you have chosen us as your child's primary environment. We are a small inclusive school with high expectations, a positive ethos, open and honest communication and a real passion for seeing children become well rounded citizens. We are confident that your child will enjoy their time with us.
Special Educational Needs
We operate an inclusive school and surrounding environment at Penns. If you are concerned or need to discuss your child's progress thus far, our pastoral team will be happy to discuss any issues or concerns that require attention before your child begins in September enabling them to settle easily and progress well.

19.5.22 - Your child is currently being placed into one of our school houses. If your child has a sibling at the school they will be placed into the same house. You will be informed in good time which colour tee shirt you need to buy for pe.
Parents are able to buy any tee shirt for their child in the correct colour or please see the link on the uniform tab if you wish to purchase a branded tee shirt complete with your child's initials.
Mrs Sheffield (EYFS lead) and Mrs Jones (teaching support) will be undertaking home visits on the following dates:

Wednesday 6th July at 2pm / Teddy bears Picnic
(Your child is invited into school for a mini picnic and a chance to meet their Y6 buddy. Don't forget to bring your favourite teddy. Mums and dads are invited to stay and meet other parents)
School Start Dates:
|Wednesday 7th September 2022||9.30 - 11am||
Both child and parents arrive at 9.30am and take part in a workshop introducing parents to school life and expectations of reception.
Parents and child leave at 11am
|Thursday 8th September 2022||8.45am - 12.30pm||
Parents drop off children to reception classroom.
Children remain in school for lunchtime and then are collected at 12.30pm
Friday 9th September 2022
8.45am - 15.30pm
Full school day
We do have a new reception WhatsApp group so that parents can keep one another informed. If you would like to join the group, please call the office and leave your details so that you can be added. Thank you.
