How We Do
At Penns Primary, each subject is supported by a “How we do…” document, which sets out our intent, how we teach, and the impact we expect to see. These documents cover every area of the curriculum — from English, maths and science to history, geography, art, design technology, music, computing, PE, languages, PSHE and RE. Central to each is our commitment to adaptive teaching: lessons are carefully planned and adjusted to ensure that all pupils, including those with SEND, can access learning, make progress and achieve success. This consistent, well-sequenced approach enables every child to develop the knowledge, skills and values they need to thrive both in school and beyond.
